Beautiful Antique c1890 approximately33 1/4" High x 9" wide about 21 lbs. Sapho/Sappho Plaster StatueThis is an antique statue of a beautifully detailed woman leaning on a large amphora decorated with a lyre. A lot of attention given to her long hair, jewelry, and clothing. Bronze glaze over plaster. Gesso over plaster which was common at that time.
There are a smom imperfections
It needs paint touchup in several areas.
The large amphora has a chipped area
that needs repair.
Mostly ablut 95% in original condition
