A very rare pair of Lladro equestrian Andalusian figurines from vintage Lladro collection. Horseman by sculptor Salvador Furio was issued in 1969 and retired in 1970. As far as we can see, the only imperfection is that one ear needs to be re-glued. The official Lladro Collection site lists this one piece at $2820.00.
The companion piece of the couple on horseback was designed by Fugnecio Garcia in 1970. This sculpture has a mended front leg, is missing an ear and has a hairline chip on the horse’s rump. Should you want repairs done, there is an official Lladro restorer in Estill, South Carolina . Both pieces are approximately 16 inches tall.
