ORIGINAL BOXES for the Phantom 2 Drone - Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal - Black Pearl Receiver/Sreen and Transmitter
The DJI Phantom 2 was designed without a Camera or method to View where the Drone was or what it was seeing. The Phantom 2 was designed to be a line of sight flight Drone.
The solution was to add a Zenmuse Gimbal System under the drone to which a Go-Pro camera was attached. Then you needed an Audio/Video Transmitter attached to the Drone and a way to receive the signals... hence the Black Pearl System that attached to the controller. Worked perfectly to enable drone view flights of up to about 3/4 mile away. The feedback from the Transmitter enabled the Receiver to not only show the Go-Pro view but gave feedback on height and distance as well as direction of travel relative to the controller position.
This drone work well to it's original design. It flies and responds to the controller. The Go-Pro attaching collar on the Gimbal broke at one end and the Go-Pro was held in place with a tiewrap. There is a balance problem with the Gimbal that started with the Camera momentarily jerking to the left then returning to normal while in flight. Now sometimes when turned on it cannot find a balance. There is Google info on both of these issues and may be a calibration / update solution.
