Original family ownership offering - vintage, high quality, mahogany, handmade, Kindel (Grand Rapids, MI), Georgian / Chippendale style, beautiful grain, hanging wall mirror. (Piece # 4605, Oxford). CONDITION: VERY GOOD. The mirror is stamped and features mahogany wood with a shell carving centered over the mirror with a beautiful leaf and flowers garland / motif border. Both shell and garland have an attractive patina from age. Original glass with interior beading around mirror frame and desirable, extremely minimal signs of age. The mirror glass remains very bright and clean (see photographs). There are no scratches, fading, discolorations, cracks, chipping or stains on the front surface. Its construction remains tight and sturdy in its original, unaltered condition. The wood backing is in very good condition. Purchased in the mid-1930’s by owner’s aunt and uncle.
