Excellent condition, but with some tarnish (needs polishing or guilding).
Brass (or bronze) with steel base.

This is a family heirloom and was on my Mom & Dad's bed in the 1970s.
We've had it in storage for years. I have Never seen another one of these
on the market, you cant find one. Once I saw a Queen-sized for $6500.
