Our lambs began dropping DEC 1st 2025. The lambing ended in March 2026. Lambs are now being reserved. Over 60 sheep this season. Plenty of males are remaining. Females have all been reserved. We are currently taking reservations with pre sales. Last year took about two weeks for reservations to fill. So reach out soon if you need to add to your flock. Sheep will be weaned, castrated, and ready end of APR 2026 to add value to your ranch or farm (pending your reservation). Even once all animals have been reserved reach out if wanting to be placed on the alternate list in the event someone fails to pickup.
Herd was started with Katahdin hair sheep several years ago. The original mothers were offspring from a Virginia tech ram study. They have done very well on our farm with fresh grass, water, and continual rotations. Rotations are 1-2 times daily this time of year. Over the years we have only had to treat one animal and it was for a case of pinkeye and the ewe healed up quickly after applying ointment.
Two breeding cycles ago we incorporated a st croix ram into the breeding mix. This year is the Katahdin ram (see pic). This year he has provided us with very good looking lambs.
