Job Summary
We are seeking one Driver Helper to assist with additional trash pickup routes. This position works alongside a Route Driver to support the collection of waste and/or recyclable materials. The assignment may be extended depending on workload and performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist the Route Driver with waste and/or recycling collection
Ride on the truck and safely load and unload materials
Perform additional trash pickup as assigned
Immediately report any unsafe situations or service-related issues to the Route Manager or Dispatch
Comply with OSHA regulations and all local, state, and federal laws
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Steel-toed boots required
Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
Ability to work outdoors for long shifts
Strong focus on safety and teamwork
Reliable and punctual
