Job Summary and Qualificions

Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing variety of equipment and following prescribed procedures. Calibres equipment. Performs diagnostic studies on pients as prescribed by physician, using scanners, or scintillion cameras to detect radiion emitted and to produce counters, scalers, and scintillion detectors. Administers therapeutic dose of radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician. Follows radiion safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive merials. The Nuclear Med Tech in this department provides care for birth to pediric, pediric/child pients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent pients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult pients between 18 to 64 years; and geriric pients 65 years and older.

Wh you will do in this role:

• You will prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, utilizing a variety of equipment while following prescribed procedures.

• You will administer therapeutic dose of radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician.
• You will follow radiion safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive merials.
• You will provide care for birth to pediric, pediric/child pients between 1 to 11 years of age; adolescent pients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult pients between 18 to 64 years; and geriric pients 65 years and older.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start de
• (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (NMT) Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (ARRT-N) Nuclear Medicine Technology
• 1-3 years of experience, preferred
• Must be a gradue of an accredited AMA program with a certifice or degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology
