Rear End: High Clearance Extreme Duty 2"x8"x1/4" Tubing Rear end on non tilt Yetis...not stamped sheet metal like Diamond C and PJ and Big tex.
Axles: Dexter 7K Axles on 14k and 15K Models.......... 8k Extreme Duty with Monster sized Brakes and D80N Hubs Not little 2in brakes like on Diamon C and Bigtex and PJ and pretty much all the other brands. Bigfoot puts brakes on ALL wheels ALWAYS as per the LAW...unlike the cheapo trailers sold at SOME "shady dealers".
Axle Drop: Bigfoot Yeti Trailers use 4" Drop Axles to get the trailer deck and load lower to the ground. This improves the ride and safety. It also eleiminates the need for a dove tail which gives you a flat surface on the rear of the trailer..which has many advantges and uses.
Paint System: EVERCOAT PAINT SYSTEM. You will NOT find another manufacturer that puts more time and money into prepping and painting a trailer. 1 hour prep and grind is performed on each trailer. Acid Etch system is perfromed on every trailer. The big guys use powder coating to save money...and the little guys use water base enamel to save money...many use no primer. All 2024 Bigfoot Trailers get a conversion coating solution that causes the steel to reject corrosion. Then we use a 2 Part mixed Epoxy Primer which is used on parts that are coated to be in the ocean. Next we use a 2 part Poly-Urethane Same type used on Airline Jets, Trains, Semi Trucks...etc Our paint system is audited and monitored by the manufacturer of the paint to be applied in the very best manner posible.
