Job Overview:
Newsom Oil Company is looking for delivery drivers. We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, company. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a "roll-up your sleeves" attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Follow routes and schedules for timely deliveries - Make deliveries of oil (55 gallon drums) in accordance with customer needs and company policies
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate driving logs - Early AM start (Monday - Friday) 3-4 day work week (average ~ 55 hours weekly)
Experience:
- Prior experience as a commercial truck driver is preferred
- Familiarity with various truck types and their specific requirements
- Ability to handle different cargo loading and unloading techniques
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: With OT, Safety and Operational Incentives our drivers are earning between $1,500-$2,000 per week
